About me
Nancy Lorimer is Associated Director of Metadata Services at Stanford University, where she oversees original metadata creation, data control, and e-resources, and participates in linked data projects and planning. She has been active in all the Linked Data for Production (LD4P) Projects, has been closely involved in the development of Sinopia, and is co-chair of Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Metadata Applications Profiles Working Group and Linked Data Training Group. Formerly, a music metadata librarian for close to 20 years, Nancy participated in the development of RDA, controlled vocabularies for music and rare music cataloging before moving into the world of linked data. Nancy is currently also a member-at-large of the PCC Policy Committee (PoCo) and formerly a member of the PCC Standing Committee on Training.
